Most citizens when talking about anti-aging services or goods tend to consider only those programs and items relating to their bodies. We almost often neglect one of the most significant anti-aging things, THE BRAIN. Some of the most valuable components of the body is the human brain, others would argue it’s THE most essential component. Have a look at Anti-Aging of the Brain for more info on this.
How do we allow the whole of our bodies to be fit and safe, without a fit and healthy brain?
Imagine a muscle to the neck. You use them as other organs, or you loose them. Only think about what occurs when an individual becomes sick for a long time, they lose muscle tone and have to go through a lengthy, arduous, and sometimes difficult, rehabilitation program to get back to their previously enjoyed level of fitness. So, if you compare your brain with that, let ‘s say the calf muscle in your leg, what happens if you don’t regularly exercise it? It slows down, and is unwilling to carry out the things that it used to do, simply without thought. It can not fly, it can not go up the stairs, it can not go up a ladder. Your brain is just the same, avoid the exercise and lose its work.
Oldering doesn’t mean we’ve got to have a ‘old brain.’ We can still maintain our ‘young brain’ as long as we exercise it as our bodies would. Our brains need to be elastic in order to stay ‘young,’ and brain exercises can support this. The elasticity of our muscles helps us to enjoy movement with grace and flexibility. Brain elasticity is almost the same. When you consider how an adult uses his brain to a child’s, it soon becomes obvious that the capacity of the adult brain can diminish.
A child is constantly experiencing new experiences and challenges, and seeking them out. Each new experience and challenge stretches the brain and increases its capabilities and functionality. It occurs everyday for kids helping them assimilate an infinite series of interactions and abilities. Unfortunately, this process tends to stop in most adults in their twenties, unless of course it is still in education, and the process of stretching the capabilities of the brain slows down to a crawl. When the decades pass, we continue to utilize our brain’s capacities on a, ‘as needed’ basis. As previously stated, we either ‘Use it or Lose it’.
